The Charter of State Authority “Ontustyk” special economic zone Directorate” was approved in the 27th of July and registered in the 2nd of August, 2005.

The area of Special economic zone “Ontustyk” is 200 hectares in Sairam region of South Kazakhstan Oblast.
Goal: textile industry development in Kazakhstan.
Main manufacture types: production of all kinds of yarn, denim jeans products, production of knitted products, working clothes and gray clothes, home textiles, production of textile products on the basis of a cotton-fibre with addition of synthetic fibres, silk fabrics and goods on it basis, carpets and tapestries, cotton cellulose and its derivatives, leather products, nonwoven products, production of high quality paper of cotton material.
